Production of safflower oil
Safflower oil is one of the vegetable food ingredients which are essential in our daily ration as “live” products obtained without chemical exposure during production process and thus preserving natural vitamins and trace elements.
Safflower oil is the richest source of linoleic acid (omega-6) – up to 82%, which is not produced by our body.
We produce two types of safflower oil:
- oil obtained by pressing peeled seeds, it is used in food industry, pharmaceutics and cosmetology;
- oil obtained from raw seeds, it has a bitterish taste and is used for production of non-yellowing light drying oil, for soap boiling, for production of linoleum.
Safflower oil cake has the same feeding characteristics as sunflower oil cake and is widely used for production of feed.
